Accommodation
Tiger Lagoon provides 20 cottages equipped with modern amenities and luxuries and yet retain an earthy, rustic quality thanks to their roomy design, nature-inspired dιcor and multiple large panel windows. In addition to an extra spacious studio-style room, each cottage unit includes a large dressing room with closet, a king-size bathroom and a private deck on the water front. Each cottage features an open-to-sky bath area with a sunken jacuzzi or bath-tub, or rain shower. Enjoy a shower under the blue sky or take a long bath in the Sun while still in the total privacy of your personal space. Other room amenities include remote controlled split air-conditioning mosquito protection, sit-up backrests on beds, night stands with bedside lamps, satellite television, study desk and coffee table set.

About Bandhavgarh National Park
Bandhavgarh National Park is located in Madhya Pradesh. This park is among the best national parks of India where Asian tigers can be easily viewed. Area of this park is of around 448 sq km. Bandhavgarh Hill, at the height of 811 meters above the sea level, is located at the centre of the park. This hill is surrounded by sloping valleys. Bandhavgarh experiences climatic conditions that vary to opposite extremes. The temperature in the winters varies from 4 to 20°C between November and February. In the summers, the temperatures move to the other extreme and can go up to 48 degrees centigrade. Though the climate is best during December to February, the best season to spot wildlife is from March to May. The closest train station is Umaria. Umaria is a jeep ride from Tala, the village at the Main Gate to Bandhavgarh. Tala (Bandhavgarh) is well connected to Katni which is one of the major railway junctions nearby. Generally it takes 2-2.5 hrs and one can easily get vehicles to and from the station by jeeps or similar vehicles waiting at the exit of the Umaria railway station.
